What we collect
We collect information when you use this website, contact us, ask for a demonstration, book a meeting, become a client or authorise our LinkedIn Page publishing application.
- Enquiry and booking details, including your name, business, phone number, email address, type of work, preferred date and preferred time.
- Demo access details, including the name and Australian mobile number entered to reveal the Cleo demonstration line.
- Website events, including the page viewed, referring page, campaign labels, browser description, clicks on phone, email and booking links, form submissions and Cleo audio activity.
- A first-party random visitor identifier stored in a cookie and local browser storage for about 390 days. A separate browser session identifier resets after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- A short salted hash made from the network address for abuse controls and traffic checks. The raw network address is not placed in our analytics database.
- Information you give us while discussing, buying or receiving a service, including service instructions, correspondence, invoices and support records.
How website activity can connect to a business record
If you open a unique link sent by our team, the token in that link can associate later website activity with the matching prospect record. That browser token expires after about 390 days and ordinary return visits do not extend its expiry. If you submit a booking form, the email address can connect that browser's earlier website activity to the same record. We use this to understand whether a real conversation led to a visit, a Cleo listen or an enquiry.
We do not use an advertising pixel, buy browsing profiles or track you across unrelated websites. The identifiers described above are set by Fusion Line on this website.
LinkedIn Page publishing application
We have created a LinkedIn Page publishing application for Fusion Line. If LinkedIn approves access and an authorised Page administrator connects it, the application will use LinkedIn's Community Management interfaces only for Fusion Line's own Company Page.
The application may receive the administrator and organisation identifiers needed to verify authority, an access token, Page and post identifiers, the content and media selected for publication, publication status, post links and aggregate post performance figures made available by LinkedIn.
We use that information to publish approved organic Page posts, confirm that the correct words and media are live, avoid duplicate posts, reconcile a removed post, and measure the performance of Fusion Line content. The application does not sell LinkedIn data, build advertising profiles, scrape member profiles, publish to an unrelated Page or coordinate artificial engagement.
Why we use personal information
- Answer an enquiry and arrange a meeting or demonstration.
- Provide, support and improve the service you asked about or bought.
- Measure which Fusion Line pages and approved LinkedIn posts lead to genuine interest.
- Protect forms and demo access from automated or repeated misuse.
- Keep financial, contractual and operational records required to run the business.
- Meet a legal obligation or respond to a lawful request.
Who receives it
We disclose information only where it is needed for the purpose above. The current providers include Railway for website and database hosting, Google Workspace for email, Meta for internal WhatsApp notifications, LinkedIn for the Page publishing application, and Kai, Fusion Line's own customer relationship system. Information can also be seen by authorised staff and contractors, professional advisers, and a regulator or court where disclosure is required.
Our current service path can process information in Australia and overseas, including the United States, Singapore and Sri Lanka. We take reasonable steps to limit access to people and providers doing the stated job.
Storage, security and retention
We use access controls, restricted credentials, encrypted provider connections, input checks and abuse limits. No internet service can promise absolute security, so do not send passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive credentials through a public form.
We keep personal information only while it is needed for the reason it was collected, to maintain a business record, to resolve a dispute or to meet a legal obligation. We then delete it or remove the identifying link where practical. LinkedIn access tokens are removed when they are no longer authorised or needed.
Your choices and requests
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, ask us to delete information that no longer needs to be kept, or ask us to disconnect a LinkedIn authorisation. We may need to confirm your identity and may retain information where the law or an active contract requires it.
Contact the Fusion Line Privacy contact by emailing connect@fusionline.com.au with the subject Privacy request, calling 03 7045 5499, or writing to 2 Henry Lawson Drive, Lynbrook VIC 3975, Australia. We aim to acknowledge a complaint promptly and give a substantive response within 30 days.
If a privacy concern is not resolved
Tell us first so we can investigate the actual record and action. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We will update the date on this page when the information we collect, the reason we use it or the providers handling it materially change.
